We are here to help you to source entry level employees to meet the demands of many civil and infrastructure development projects!

After listening to industry concerns about the skill shortages in the industry and the need to meet the demands of current and future infrastructure development in our State, the CCF have been busy training the right people for your workforce.

The Civil Skills Cadetship Program has been developed to meet these needs, providing approximately 25 days of blended training and development.

We are currently skilling and developing people – getting them to the ‘Job Ready’ stage for You!

The candidates will firstly receive thorough interviewing and career assessment to make sure they are the right fit for the industry.

Once suitability is established, they will go on to receive 25 days of training, working through 12 core units of competency of the Certificate III in Civil Construction.

During the Program, each participant will also be supported by an Industry Mentor, which will continue into their first 6 months of employment if they select to become an apprentice. At the end of their training the participants will be deemed ‘skilled labourers’ and will either be looking for a ‘foot in the door’; job as a labourer; or as an Apprentice to complete the rest of the Certificate III in Civil Construction.

These participants come from all walks of life, with a desire of working in the civil construction industry.
