Australian Code for the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road or Rail Update:
As Members may know, the Australian Code for the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road and Rail, edition 7 (ADG 7) is currently incorporated into the Dangerous Goods (Explosives) Regulations 2011, the Dangerous Goods (Storage and Handling) Regulations 2012 and the Dangerous Goods (Transport by Road or Rail) Regulations 2008.
As such, ADG 7 has been replaced by the Australian Code for the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road and Rail, edition 7.3 (ADG 7.3) and came into effect in Victoria on Thursday 30 October, 2014.
As with most incorporated documents under the Dangerous Goods Act 1985, where there are any new obligations, duty holders have six months to comply.
