Australian Tunnelling Conference returns to Sydney for 2016:
Informa Australia is pleased to announce details for the 14th Australian Tunnelling Conference. Save the date and join your peers at this prominent event on the tunnelling calendar, which returns to the Menzies Hotel in Sydney, on the 11th & 12th October 2016.
The event is supported by the Australasian Tunnelling Society and brings together tunnelling leaders, engineers and industry experts to share best practice in tunnelling design, construction, safety and maintenance.
Highlights from the 2015 conference included:
- Updates from the project leaders of Sydney’s Northwest Metro, WestConnex, NorthConnex, WA’s Forrestfield-Airport Link, Auckland’s Waterview Connection Project road tunnel, the UK’s HS2, the Grosvenor TBM Mine project and Sydney’s Wynyard Walk Pedestrian Tunnel.
- Chris Dulake, Engineering Director for the UK’s HS2 Phase 1 and former Chief Engineer for London’s Crossrail took to the stage as our guest international speaker to share a case study on the lessons learnt from the London’s mega tunnelling project.
