Women in Civil Network

Civil Contractors Federation Victoria proudly celebrates women in civil construction and aims to achieve better outcomes for women in our sector every day, which is why we are so excited to launch our Women in Civil Network which will be rich and collaborative space to celebrate achievements and advance initiatives to improve the experiences of women in our sector.

We are passionate about empowering women to build bright futures in Civil Construction and bring visibility to the endless career opportunities for women within our vibrant and growing industry!

Victorian Civil Construction Safety Network:

Our inaugural Victorian Civil Construction Safety Network will provide a rich, collaborative space for industry and safety professionals to come together on key safety matters and to increase safety (physical and psychological) capability across our industry. The network will enable members to have access to industry experts best practice models of safety compliance and regulatory information;  enabling proactive planning in safety matters. In an industry that is often accused as being far too reactionary, some proactive planning will be very welcome.

We anticipate this group will grow over time our founding member companies are BMD, Seymour Whyte and Fulton Hogan.

Business Network:

Our business network is designed to connect you with, and encourage you to connect with other enterprises – corporate, public or private sector, industry associations or not-for-profits, prospective customers or potential alliance partners.

Through a program of events and workshops on a range of relevant and interesting topics, our aim is to facilitate opportunities for you to develop your network and broaden awareness and marketing of your brand, as well access to the resources and key insider insights to improve your business operations and effectiveness. We want you to be the best business you can be, and this Business Network is all about making sure that you are!

Leadership Network:

The Leadership Network exists to support members and industry build leadership capability in their organisations and people. We bring together businesses, academia, government, and other stakeholders to unlock the leadership potential for our civil industry, recognising that leadership is an integral part of organisational culture. The leadership network will provide innovative thinking, tools and practices and will be a place where you can build partnership with like-minded people to increase capability in leadership and achieve better outcomes for culture in our industry.

Circular Economy Network:

This is a network which allows members to provide input into policy decisions on environmental and sustainability issues in civil construction. The circular economy network exists to bring likeminded people to together to ensure a more sustainable and vibrant civil construction industry, by working together to innovate civil infrastructure activities to increase the use of Victorian reused and recycled materials and reduce waste.
