The litany of allegations of industrial sabotage and criminal misconduct against the CFMEU leadership continues to cast a shadow over Victoria’s civil construction industry.

The community is rightly shocked and appalled by the volume, depth and nature of all the reported incidents of bullying, threats of physical and sexual violence and corruption.

The CFMEU scandal reinforces our belief that contractors and their workers should have a safe, secure and confidential mechanism to share their experiences so they can be addressed and resolved appropriately.

Confidence in Reporting
We understand how difficult it may be to report any incidents directly to public authorities but as the peak body for civil construction, we are a confidential and safe space for you to report into.

That’s why we’ve created this Voice of Victims reporting process; a quick and simple, confidential and anonymous way to share your reports of incidents and evidence of criminal behaviour, violence and intimidation on your construction sites.

We don’t want you to be put off by the fear of any reprisals but there is strength in numbers and together we can help drive positive change.

Immediately following these allegations being published in the national media, we called on the state and federal governments to act swiftly to eradicate this repugnant behaviour disrupting our construction sites – our members’ workplaces.

Physical and mental health safety on-site
In excess of 45,000 Victorians work in civil construction: not one of them deserves to be intimidated, threatened or bullied by allegedly criminal elements of the CFMEU.

Every contractor, every labourer, every worker has every right to a safe workplace free from physical and mental harm and we will continue to advocate for this.

Don’t stay silent. Act NOW! And be encouraged by joining those who’ve already contacted us to report their experiences of intimidation, bullying, threats of violence and industrial sabotage in our civil construction workplaces.
