R U OK? Day is this Thursday the 10th September 2020.

It’s a national day of action, when Australians are reminded that every day is the day to ask, “Are you OK?” if someone in their world is struggling with life’s ups and downs.

CCF Victoria is much more than a membership organisation for the civil construction industry, and this year we are supporting RUOK? Day.

Our mission is to listen to, advocate for and represent our members in ways that makes them feel safe, secure and valued. That mission also extends to our staff.

RUOK? Day comes at an important time this year, and provides us with practical tips that you can use if you feel someone you know is not doing well, or acting a bit differently.

It is also important to know, that you don’t have to be an expert to keep the conversation going when someone says they’re not OK, and there are some things you can consider doing if you get the feeling that someone you know or care about it isn’t behaving as they normally would? Perhaps they seem out of sorts? More agitated or withdrawn? Or they’re just not themselves.

How to ask RUOK?
