- All requests for a planned water supply interruption are made in easyACCESS;
- A successful completion of water quality testing is required before a planned water supply interruption is scheduled;
- 9 working days’ notice is required for all planned water supply interruptions; and
- All planned water supply service interruptions are to be completed within 4 hours.

Access Permits on Live Sewer Works
Access Permits have been replaced with the new Field Activity Notification process. Yarra Valley Water will no longer issue contractors and developers with an access permit.
Field Activity Notification:
Starting from Monday, 16 November 2015, Consultants and Contractors will be required to activate a Field Activity Notification. To do this you need an asset ID number.
The asset ID is established by using Yarra Valley Water’s GIS. This is accessible to all accredited suppliers via easyACCESS. The number should always be the nearest downstream Access Points i.e. MH, MS or IS.
Should you experience any difficulties with initially determining the asset ID via our GIS, please contact 1300 651 511 and Select Option 4.
Consultants and contractors will not need to pre-apply for an access permit.
Field Activity Notification In overtime:
When a field activity notification is activated, the call operator will request an emergency escalation contact. If a Field Activity Notification goes into overtime, Yarra Valley Water will attempt to contact the listed emergency contact to advise of the overtime notification.
Please note that from the 16 November; any previously issued Access Permit Numbers will be made redundant. Consultants and Contractors will need to quote an Asset Id if they wish to activate a Field Activity Notification.
If you have any further questions regards any of the above and the impact on your current development projects, please contact one of the following key personnel from Yarra Valley Water’s land development team
