Launch

Onsite coronavirus testing commenced on major CBD projects in Melbourne today.

The program was launched at Probuild’s West Side project site in Spencer St by industry stakeholders in conjunction Incolink’s Mobile Health Centre.

Present at the launch were representatives from Master Builders Victoria, C+BUS Superannuation, CoInvest, Incolink, Australian Prostate Centre and all industry unions including Plumbing Trades Union, CFMMEU and ETU.

Onsite Testing

Onsite facilities have been established for coronavirus testing and infection controls put in place for commencement of widespread workforce testing tomorrow 29 April.

The Incolink Bus was then transferred to the Melbourne Square site being built by Multiplex at Southbank. Suitable facilities were identified for commencement of widespread workforce testing tomorrow 29 April.

Next Sites

Arrangements are in place for establishment of the next on site testing facilities at:

  • Geelong – Hutchinson Builders – Thursday 30 April
  • Various sites – Kane Constructions – Friday 1 May
  • Various sites – Major Transport Infrastructure Authority – from 4 May

Both Probuild and Multiplex have offered further CBD sites at our convenience.
