The Victorian Treasurer and Planning Minister have recently requested a review into building and planning approvals processes. This review is to be led by Anna Cronin, in her role as Red Tape Commissioner, with the final report to be handed to government by the end of the year.

CCF has made previous representations to the State Government and the Red Tape Commissioner on the problems and delays in the planning approval process. We welcome this review and further details including the full Terms of Reference can be accessed here

CCF members are an important stakeholder for this review. I encourage members to take an active part in the review. You can do so and stay “up to date” on key developments by registering your interest with the Office for Better Regulation here.
