John Holland’s Goulburn-Murray Water Connections Project

The first of this year’s Chapter Forums will be held at Shepparton, which will be focused on John Holland’s Goulburn-Murray Water Connections Project, and their call to engage with new subcontractors and suppliers in the region to assist in the delivery of this scope.

Daniel Freitag, Project Manager will be presenting on John Holland’s multiple capital works channel projects, as part of the $2B Connections Project. The Project has a large scope of works to be delivered in 2019. The works are based in a large geographical area spanning across the Northern-Central region of the State, from Swan Hill in the West to Cobram in the East.

Tenders will be released on the 6th of February 2019 with works to commence in May 2019.

John Holland are keen to engage with a range of subcontractors who can manage single or multiple projects concurrently. The scope of works generally involves the installation of pumped or gravity HDPE pipelines including customer outlet upgrades, channel decommissioning and on-farm works for customer reconnections. The pipelines vary from DN400 to DN1200 in diameter. These works generally suit subcontractors who are experienced in pipe laying, welding, bulk earthworks and/or minor structures.

There are 24 packages of work with a total of 90km pipeline, 4 pump stations, 500+ customer outlet treatments and 60+ on-farm projects.
