Michael Paynter – Industry Liaison Officer, Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Victoria

Michael is an Industry Liaison Officer at the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Victoria, and the key Government representative on the Building and Construction Industry Working Group, comprising Employer Groups and Unions, who are working collaboratively in the development of safety guidelines for construction worksites during the COVID-19 Pandemic. 

With a Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Law from Monash University, Michael is the principle for Peregrine Industrial, a group of specialist consultants in industrial relations, workplace legislation, dispute resolution and occupational health and safety compliance in the building and construction industry in Australia.

 

Dr William Wong – Senior Medical Officer, Company Medical Services (CMS)

Dr William Wong is currently the Senior Medical Officer with Company Medical Services. He is also a qualified General Practitioner and Dentist with past experience as a military doctor, serving deployments in both East Timor and Iraq.

Dr Wong now specialises in Occupational Health and leads service delivery and training for COVID-19 support and testing for large organisations.

 

Kris Gretgrix – Construction Liaison Officer, Worksafe Victoria

Kris Gretgrix is a health and safety executive that is currently the Construction Liaison Officer for WorkSafe Victoria.  His remit is industry engagement in the Infrastructure and Tier 1 sector, and had a demonstrated history of working across the Engineering, Manufacturing, Petrochemical and Construction Industry.  Prior to joining WorkSafe he worked for the Electrical Trades Union as the Director of Health & Safety after making the move from the private sector.
