CCF Rail Sector Breakfast - 23 March, 2018

The Rail Sector Breakfast provided a tremendous insight into the pipeline of work for major Rail Sector projects including the Melbourne Metro Rail, Regional Rail (Murray Basin Freight Plan), Level Crossing Removal & Airport Link, and the sub-contract opportunities that may emanate from these.

As CEO’s representing two of Victoria’s biggest rail infrastructure bodies, Evan Tattersall from Melbourne Metro Rail and Kevin Devlin from the Level Crossing Removal Authority were there to discuss more detail around these major works and the opportunities being presented in this sector.

Western Water Contractors Forum - 21 March, 2018

This Forum was held on the 21 March at Tabcorp Park in Melton South where representatives from Western Water discussed upcoming water and sewerage construction projects and tender opportunities.

Robert Murphy, General Manager-Capital Program & Delivery and Infrastructure Delivery Co-ordinator, Warren Price where there to provide an overview of the growth that is driving record levels of capital investment in there region. Click below to view their presentation.

2017 CCF Water Sector Breakfast - 1 September, 2017

The 2017 Water Sector Breakfast was once again held at Kooyong Tennis Center. This year, Parliamentary Secretary for the Environment Anthony Carbines MP addressed over 100 attendees which included an update on the long term security of water supply and investment in capital projects across metro and regional Victoria.

Other presentations were included from VicWater chief Tony Wright and City West Water MD, David Ryan.

2017 CCF Roads Sector Breakfast - 9 June, 2017

The 2017 Roads Sector Breakfast was held at the prestigious Kooyong Tennis Center, where once again this year attendees were provided with a detailed run down of the major works planned for Victoria’s roads and infrastructure.

Please see below the presentations from Bill Glasgow – Executive Director Regional Services, VicRoads and Andrew Williams – Executive Director Major Projects, which discuss the vast range of works planned for Victoria’s major road projects, and the opportunities that Contractors will have over the next 12-18 months.

In addition, we have also included the presentation from Shaun Leane MP regarding the new ‘Centre of Excellence in Earthmoving’ program which aims to fill the much needed skills shortage in Victoria with people from the most vulnerable sectors of our community, and assist them to develop the necessary skills that will lead to sustainable employment opportunities to meet these critical infrastructure needs.
