The proposed Occupational Health and Safety Amendment (Crystalline Silica) Regulations 2021 (proposed Regulations) and associated Regulatory Impact Statement (RIS) are available for public review and comment from, Friday 22 January to Thursday 18 February 2021.

A dedicated webpage has been created for public comment on the Victorian Government’s consultation platform, engage.vic.gov.au/proposed-silica-regulations-2021, to allow employers, employees, other interested parties and members of the public to view the public comment materials and make a submission. Submissions can also be lodged by email or post.

Supporting information including a summary of proposed changes and frequently asked questions are also available from the webpage.
