Civil Contractors Federation Victoria (CCF Victoria) has taken out Silver in the “Small Training Provider of the Year” category at the Australian Training Awards (ATAs).

CCF Vic Executive Lyndal Ellement and Board Director Jay Miller celebrate the Silver award

The award recognises CCF Victoria’s work delivering industry-specific, practical training through its registered training organisation (RTO), with a focus on safety, skills and workforce readiness for civil construction.

Judges singled out CCF Victoria’s “Pathways – Shaping Careers, Re-Shaping Industry” program, a tailored training scheme which supports women and First Nations participants by offering apprenticeships and skill courses.

Pathways was also recognised for its strong focus on safety, industry-relevancy, inclusion and real employment outcomes, with 86 per cent of participants moving into jobs after completing the program.

CCF Victoria was one of seven state winners at the 2025 national awards on Friday night, highlighting our role in building a skilled, job-ready workforce for Victoria’s infrastructure future.

The Small Training Provider of the Year category recognises small RTOs with fewer than 500 students that offer a range of training products and services and that demonstrate excellence and high-level performance in all aspects of VET.

It follows our Gold win at the Victorian Training Awards in September in the same category (Small Training Provider of the Year).
