Practitioner courses are for professionals who are qualified to work directly on live roads such as traffic controllers, implementors or designers. They are responsible for developing and applying Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) and Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS). Essential for those implementing or designing traffic setups in real‑time construction or maintenance environments.

Commonly delivered for office‑based staff such as project managers, estimators or auditors who review and monitor TMPs/TGS compliance. While they are not involved in on‑site implementation, this training provides a critical understanding of traffic management documentation and standards for review and audit purposes.
Specifically for workers in the utility sector (water, gas, power and telecommunications) who need to manage traffic whilst conducting repair or installation work. This course ensures you understand basic traffic management setups safely and legally during essential service work.
This is for workers performing low‑impact, short‑duration traffic management tasks such as pothole repairs, vegetation trimming or litter removal usually on low‑volume roads. This is ideal for local council and maintenance crews.
