What clothing should I wear?

We request you bring the following PPE. Hard hat, high visibility vest, safety glasses, steel capped boots, long sleeve shirt, long trousers, gloves and wet weather gear. All or some of this equipment will be needed throughout the course.

What time do courses commence?

All courses commence at 8:15am, unless otherwise advised. You’ll need to be at the training site at least 10-15 minutes prior to the course commencing. Attendees arriving later than this time may be admitted at the trainers discretion.

How do I cancel a course booking and will it cost anything to cancel?

To cancel a course booking, please call (03) 9822 0900. Please note that to obtain a full refund, you need to cancel at least 7 days prior to the course commencement date. Click here to read our full Cancellation Policy.

What happens if Civil Train cancels a course?

If we cancel a course, you’ll be provided with two options. Either a refund of the funds you have paid, or, reschedule to another date.

What if I cannot attend the course but I know someone else who wishes to do the course. What can I do?

If you are booked into a course and cannot attend, someone else may replace you. However this must be confirmed with Civil Train at least 48 hours prior to the start time. They will need to be at the training centre 10-15 minutes prior to the course commencing, and will need to hold the same eligibility as you. If in doubt, please call us on (03) 9822 0900.

How can I pay for the course?

We provide a number of alternatives for payment. Acceptable payment methods are Visa, Mastercard, Cash, Cheque, eftpos (from a savings/cheque account) and direct credit into our account. Note: Payment needs to be made one week before the commencement of the course. Cash and eftpos from a savings/cheque account can only be accepted if registering in person at the CCF VIC Branch Office at 1/322 Glenferrie Road, Malvern, VIC, 3144.

If I lose my cards or my wallet is stolen, can I get a reprint?

Yes, you can! Click here to find out how to get your cards replaced from CCF VIC. Note: Your cards will only able to be replaced by CCF VIC if you obtained your training through Civil Train.

Where are training courses held?

Our main training centre is at 1/322 Glenferrie Road, Malvern, VIC, 3144. While most of our courses are held at this location, some selected courses are conducted at our Offsite training facility in Laverton North. CCF also offer Onsite Training where our trainers can come to you. Contact CCF VIC on (03) 9822 0900 to find out more.
