Civil Train not only provides Members with training from its Victoria Branch, but also provides Members with the option of Onsite training as well.

Civil Train Victoria’s Onsite training may be the most cost effective and time efficient way to get your staff up to date with the training they need, particularly if you have large numbers of staff that require training at the one time.

To register your business for Onsite Training, please download the Onsite Training Registration Form or contact Civil Train on (03) 9822 0900.

Onsite Training Requirements:

Number of participants:

This is dependant on the course but ideally from 12-16 people. Numbers can be less than 10 but this may not be as cost effective for your company. If numbers exceed the maximum recommended per course, then two or more sessions may be required.

Location:

This can be anywhere from your company’s office, worksite or at an independant venue you have organised.

Facilities:

The venue should be clean and comfortable, have good climate control, with tea, coffee, water etc available and a whiteboard. Companies may also need to supply an overhead projector and screen. Equipment needs vary per trainer and course. If lunch is not provided it should be available close by. It is essential that the venue can comfortably seat all participants at desks or tables with enough table space for note taking and room for the trainer to present.

Time:

Courses normally commence at 8:30am and finish at 4:30pm, however training times can be flexable to better suit times for your work place.

Cost for a full day session:

A pricing structure applies to most courses on offer, however some training sessions will attract a different fee. Please enquire for half day training session prices. Note: Members will also recieve a discounted rate for all Onsite Training. GST does not apply for accredited training.

Payment:

Payment on receipt of invoice needs to be as prompt as possible as cards or certificates are not issued until the course is paid in full. If there are attendees from other companies, then it is the responsibility of the main company contact to arrange for full payment or services.

Cancellation:

Please click here to read the full Civil Train Cancellation Policy.

Accommodation & Travel:

If training is conducted in regional Victoria, then travel and accommodation costs will apply.

Dates:

When filling out the Onsite Registration Form, please supply 3 dates in order of preference. We will then check availability with our trainers. Alternatively, provide a time frame and days of the week that best suit your company. It is highly recommended that you get in as early as possible for your preferred dates.

Trainers:

Details of the allocated trainer will be provided to you with your course confirmation. We encourage contact with trainer prior to the course date to discuss your expectations and course content as well as any particular learner needs.
