Course Details
This course ensures that any person that currently holds Traffic Management or Control tickets to the level approved by Vic Roads (RIIWHS205E & RIIWHS302E), can complete this refresher with the knowledge that it will provide competency to current industry standards.
This course is ran by Civil Train Victoria, a Registered Training Organisation (RTO number 3704).

- Revision of current codes of practice and legislative responsibilities
- Control and direct traffic
- Hazard assessment
- Practical refresher for the set up and shut down of a site
Who should attend?
Current holders of a traffic management ticket that is nearing the three (3) year expiration date, to ensure their knowledge and skills are current for working in the industry.
Prerequisites
Evidence of Traffic Management training (in current units of competency) is required before commencement of the course. Should your evidence not meet the current standard of Vic Roads, it is recommended you complete our full ‘Control Traffic with Stop/Slow Bat and Implement Traffic Management Plans’ course.
What qualifications does this offer?
After successful completion of this refresher and assessment all participants receive a Traffic Management Refresher card with three years validity. This qualification meets the Vic Roads standards.
