Course Details
The TMD 3 Non-Practitioner course is a One Day theory-only course designed for individuals who require knowledge of temporary traffic management but do not perform direct traffic management roles at worksites. This is a Non-Practitioner course and does not allow the individual to design. This course builds upon the knowledge gained in TMD1 or TMD 2, covering more advanced concepts in temporary traffic management design. It is a theory-based course.
Course Delivery Structure
In Class Training:
- Day 1 : Complete the learning and theory assessment of the course.
This non-accredited (non-practitioner) course is delivered by the Civil Contractors Federation (Victoria Branch), a Registered Training Organisation (RTO Number 3704) and an AustRoads approved training provider.
Who should attend?
This information is for individuals who:
- Do not directly undertake temporary traffic management roles at worksites and are not responsible for designing TMPs and TGSs.
- Need an understanding of traffic management principles and practices. This could include individuals in roles such as:
- Office administration staff dealing with traffic management documentation.
- Supervisors who oversee traffic management operations but don't perform the hands-on work.
- Auditors of traffic management sites.
- Other personnel who require knowledge of traffic management for their roles but are not on the road.
Prerequisites
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Completion of TMD1 Non-Practitioner or TMD1 Practitioner or TMD2 Non-Practitioner or TMD2 Practitioner.
What qualifications does this offer?
Upon successful completion of the course, you will be issued with a Statement of Completion for Category 3 Traffic Management Designer (Non-Practitioner)
