Course Details

This course was developed in conjunction with WorkSafe Victoria and is used by WorkSafe Inspectors.

With proper planning, and use of equipment, hazards associated with trench work and excavations are preventable. Excavation and trench work is one of the most dangerous tasks performed by Civil Contractors. If you are unfamiliar with or fail to follow policies and procedures, or lack the training and experience necessary to work safely in these areas, you place workers at risk. This course is run by the Registered Training Organisation Civil Contractors Federation (Victorian Branch) (RTO number 3704).
