VicRoads – Transition to ISO Standards:
Late last year VicRoads sent a letter to all pre-qualified suppliers advising them of changes to the ISO Standards ISO 9001 and ISO14001.
The intent of the letter was to advise suppliers that hold certification to those standards that they need to transition their systems to the current version being 2015. Certificates of conformity that refer to previous versions of the standards will not be accepted after September 2018.
The letter also refers to the suppliers that hold system certification to the CCF Management Code; the CCF Management Code is currently under review and the revised version will be published be in the first quarter of 2018. Once published, businesses certified to the CCF Code will be given sufficient time to transition to the new requirements. There is NO need to change the certification from CCF Code to the ISO standards.
We are aware that some auditing companies are trying to generate extra business by contacting all VicRoads pre-qualified suppliers. This has caused some confusion amongst the industry.
If you have any questions in regards to this, please contact CCF Victoria on (03) 9588 7600.
