WorkSafe to Visit Regional Centres in Victoria to inspect Health and Safety Practices:
In the coming months, WorkSafe Victoria will be visiting workplaces in regional centres to inspect health and safety practices, and educate employers about their health and safety obligations.
Of particular interest to inspectors will be common health and safety issues such as hazardous manual handling practices, maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment, and policies, procedures and training around workplace bullying.
The campaign will kick off in Warrnambool this month.
