We’re looking for an accomplished Marketing and Communications all-rounder to join our Policy and Communications team to help amplify our brand and purpose.

Reporting to the Executive Manager – Policy and Communications, you’ll spearhead our marketing and communications operations: amplifying our voice and enhancing member engagement; driving our brand presence; developing innovative campaigns, and; ensuring our marketing communications resonate with our diverse audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain our solid team culture and collaborate closely with the Executive Manager to elevate our brand and relevance within the industry.
  • Develop and execute CCF Victoria’s Marketing and Communications Strategy; lead end-to-end campaigns to promote our business and services, drive membership growth and Events marketing.
  • Lead and manage delivery of Sponsors’ marketing deliverables, including working with the Executive Manager responsible for Sponsor engagement to secure and support long-term sponsorships and business partnerships.
  • Deliver a new website strategy (including site rebuild) and manage CMS.
  • Manage our various marketing channels, including our industry print magazine The Bulletin (2-3 editions per year), new podcasting platform, other relevant, emerging digital and multimedia platforms.
  • Drive content creation across various channels, ensuring quality and innovation – including video storytelling and the use of AI and other emerging technologies.
  • Manage production of marketing collateral.

This role has one direct report responsible for Marketing and Events coordination.

What you bring:

  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, business communications or a similar field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing or communications with a proven record of success.
  • Storytelling and creative writing prowess.
  • Sound project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent English language, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with CMS, digital and print publishing
  • A collaborative mindset with problem-solving skills and strong task-prioritising and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency across digital and multimedia technologies, including video production and software applications such as Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects and others).
  • Current driver’s licence.
