This is a non-accredited training course. Students who complete this course will receive a Certificate of Attendance. This certificate is issued by Civil Train Victoria, a Registered Training Organisation (RTO number 3704).
It can be very difficult to tell whether building materials contain asbestos just by looking at them. Asbestos awareness training is essential for any worker in construction or related industries where asbestos containing materials may be present. If you need to work in environments where asbestos may be present, attending this course will assist you to identify materials likely to contain asbestos, and teach you the safety requirements for working with asbestos.

Who should attend?
This course is appropriate for those working in their workplace that may come across asbestos. Such as Front-Line Managers, Work Supervisors, OH&S personnel, and Project Managers. Those persons requiring a clear understanding of Asbestos Awareness in the work environment, but do not require to remove asbestos.
What qualifications does this offer?
On completion, you will have a clear understanding of your responsibilities for the safety of persons working within their environment and have the capability to recognise asbestos. Certificate of Attendance.
