Mandatory training for all Civil workers who are responsible for the onsite preparation of underground electrical infrastructure, including trenching and pits and the installation of cables and conduits.

Upon completion of this course organisations are to be registered with VEDN.

This course is run by nationally accredited Registered Training Organisation Civil Train Victoria (RTO number 3704).

Who should attend?

All Civil contractors engaged in tendering for underground electrical infrastructure civil work for any of the Victorian Electricity Distribution Network group (Jemena, United Energy Distribution, Powercor, Citipower, SPI Electricity/SP AusNet). Only pre-qualified and approved contractors will be permitted to work on network electricity infrastructure projects.

What qualifications does this offer?

After successfully completing the course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion and a Training Card. This assists contractors in meeting the current requirements of the Victorian Electricity Supply Industry (VESI) for VEDN Installation of Underground Electrical Infrastructure.
