CCF Victoria 2022 Positive Plans - Positive Futures Mental Health in Civil Construction Forum

Join our Positive Plans Positive - Futures Mental Health in Civil Construction Forum on Thursday 15 September 2022. This event hosted by CCF Victoria's CEO, Lisa Kinross follows the hugely successful Mental Health Summit that was held in May this year, which showcased world leading research, industry focussed programs and innovative approaches to mental health in construction. The event shared important insights from our founding civil contractor businesses who created their own mental health action plans.

Program Outline:

CCF Victoria want our members and their workers to feel physically and mentally safe while at work. At CCF Victoria, we recognise that as the peak industry body for the civil construction industry that we have an important role to play in supporting our members plan to manage and deliver work in ways that prevent the risk of mental injury to people… “we can build things without breaking our people“.

Our Positive Plans – Positive Futures, Mental Health and Wellbeing Summit held in May this year showcased world leading research, industry focussed programs and innovative approaches to mental health in construction. We shared important insights from our founding civil contractor businesses who created their own Mental Health Action Plans.

As those businesses have now further progressed in their journeys to create mentally healthy workplaces, we look forward to sharing the insights and learnings from all their hard work at the upcoming Positive Plans – Positive Futures Mental Health in Civil Construction Forum in September as a wrap up event to the Positive Plans – Positive Futures program.

We are incredibly proud of our founding partner civil contractor businesses and the work CCF Victoria has done with them which has enabled us to refine a potential framework for civil construction businesses to adopt when developing their own Mental Health Action Plan.

Join us at this unmissable forum, and hear from…

  • CCF Victoria CEO, Lisa Kinross with an update on how we can support members and industry to take the lead on psychological safety now, and why the ability to prevent mental injury in the workplace is a critical business capability;
  • CCF Positive Plans-Positive Futures Program Project Lead Adrian Panozzo who will give an overview of the program, and talk to a framework and approach to prevention based strategies for mental health relevant to civil construction;
  • WorkSafe Victoria who will provide important updates on psychological health and safety initiatives they are supporting industry with; and
  • Our founding partners via a panel discussion who will share their experiences developing Mental Health Action Plans – the good, the bad, the ugly, as well as actionable tactics, and strategies for businesses to consider taking away and implementing.
