CCF Victoria partners with Meditac to combat the risk of Sudden Cardiac Arrests in the Civil Industry
In Australia each year as many as 30,000 Sudden Cardiac Arrests (SCAs) occur, and unfortunately, the death rate remains at 90%. This cements SCA as one of the leading causes of death in Australia. The Civil Contractors Federation of Victoria acknowledges that SCA is a health risk that affects a large number of Australians. As such, we have recently partnered with national defibrillation specialists, Meditac. The intent of this partnership is to raise SCA awareness, and to improve access to AEDS across the industry.
