CCF is committed to providing our members with the latest updates to industry HSEQ Standards, Compliance Codes and Legislation, helping you to maintain best-practice business operations.

As we all work under the restrictive COVID-19 mitigation measures introduced by Government, demonstrating HSEQ practices within operations and maintaining certification to the CCF Certified Contractor Management Systems (CCMS) Code of Management, has never been more relevant.

As we transition between CCF Code version 9 (v.9) to version 10 (v.10) to be completed by the end of February 2021, this is a unique opportunity for many of you to commence and complete this work.  Indeed,  some of you will have already been audited against the requirements set out in the CCF Code v.10.

For the foreseeable future, it is likely that the effects of COVID-19 restrictions will continue to effect the way that you operate your businesses and as such we we encourage you to take this opportunity to work on your OH&S systems.  Also, to engage with your Certified Auditing Body (CAB) and auditor to discuss how the audit process will look over the next 12 months.

In ensuring conformity to audit protocol, JAS-ANZ are well placed to ensure that CABS and their auditors are accredited to utilise IT and conduct remote audits, should they be required.  Importantly the audit rules state that each company are to be approached on a “case-by-case” basis and a Risk Analysis applied.

As always, we remain a faithful resource in conducting a “gap analysis” between your existing system and the CCF Code Version 10.

If you have further questions or any other OH&S issue, please contact us on 1300 DIAL CCF, or HSEQ Officer, Trevor Derham, who is available to assist you.
