EPA Amendment Bill (2018)

The CCF continues to work in collaboration with the EPA as the introduction of the new Environment Protection Act nears.

CCF has actively engaged the EPA through the Construction Advisory Working Group and the Construction and Infrastructure Reference Group as well as formal submissions for the proposed Regulations to the Act and the new EPA Guidance Document for Civil Construction, Building and Demolition.

Additional guidance tools to assist the construction industry are being prepared, and this week the EPA’s Guidance unit has released a self-assessment tool supporting businesses to manage environmental risks.
